MoodyDhoo
Moody Dhoo is a legendary black dog from Isle of Man folklore, often described as a large, shadowy hound that haunted the old Peel Castle. The tale speaks of its silent presence, glowing eyes, and the eerie sense of dread that followed it through the castle corridors. Locals believed it to be a supernatural guardian — or a warning of approaching danger. Over time, the Moody Dhoo became one of the island’s most enduring mythological figures, blending mystery, fear, and ancient storytelling.
Environment texturing.
I was responsible for all aspects of the video except the character animation. I created the Moody Dhoo dog model in ZBrush, built the environment in Unreal Engine, and handled the grooming in Maya. While the additional assets were made by my teammates, I led the lighting, atmosphere, and overall camera direction to bring the scene to life.
